Kiowa County is considered a frontier because of its population density. The wide open spaces make Kiowa County a perfect place for outdoor activity. From camping to hunting to wildlife watching making it perfect for those Colorado Hiking Buffs. Kiowa County is small where everyone knows everyone but it is rarely friendly with their open minds. Kiowa County only has three towns Sheridan Lake, Eads, and Haswell. There are four towns that don’t have the advantage of the government like Towner, Brandon, Chivington, and Arlington. But regardless all these towns have the same homey feeling. All towns have a great sense of togetherness. It is a great place to live.
