Here in Hinsdale County there are treacherous weather conditions that you always have to be prepared for. In spring and summer they get a lot of rain that causes potential flooding and in winter there is a lot of snow. But that is expected due to the fact that it is Colorado. The whole towns pulls together to help prevent any damages to the towns in Hinsdale when the weather hits. Lake City is the only town in Hinsdale County with it being the only county seat as well. Hinsdale County gets all the moisture and it looks beautiful by summer time.
