Baca County is an agricultural community with many upcoming businesses and opportunities. The Comanche Trail is located in Baca County and it connects local historical sites and a lot of other fun places, like a bird watching area where you can look at the other wildlife as well. There are many canyons to go see and look at. They are picture worthy! Now if you are not into hiking and such, there is a golf course that is really popular. Springfield Golf Course is a 9 hole course with sand greens and it is only $5.00. There are many things to do in Baca County whether it is outdoors or indoors. Each town has its own thing. Campo – farming and ranching, Pritchett – big-hearted small town, Springfield – the biggest town in the county, Two Buttes – swimming whole called the “Black Hole”, Vilas – cattle ranching town, Walsh – a small community that sticks together.
